How to make Beaded Bubble Wand

I love crafts and one thing that I enjoy the most is crafting with my kids. Inspired by a post by Jessica at northerncheapskate.com, my kids and I made beaded bubble wands.

It was a simple project. All that is needed is wire and some beads.

We used floral wire and the beads that Cee had gotten as Christmas gift from a family friend. The floral wire was thin, to make it sturdy, I made a couple of loops and tied them together.

I did the same thing for the handle and I made sure that it will fit in the hole of the bead.

My kids had a great time stringing the beads.

Here are the finished beaded bubble wands.

While the kids are busy beading the wands, I made the bubble solution.

Homemade Bubble Solution

6 cups water
½ cup light corn syrup
1 cup dawn dishwashing liquid
Mix all the ingredients together.

Here are my kids playing with bubbles and enjoying the wonderful southern summer weather.
